Happy Monday bloggers!

Despite the obvious lack of females on the sofa this week, it was still a rocking show, crammed full of testosterone and talent. In fact at some points during the day it could be seen to be dripping from the ceiling!

Anyway, first to hit the sofa were the amazing Reggie and Kevin from Black Kids, who had, incidentally, just arrived from the U S of A. On MANATEES!!

Is there anything that band can’t do??!!

They were a little tired, which is understandable, but once they hit the stage they were pure, adolescent dynamite!

Next up were rock legends (or “leg-ends” as the boys from Scooter might say!!) Mick Jones (from The Clash) and Tony James (from Sigue Sigue Sputnik) who are part of rock super-group Carbon / Silicon.

It was a genuine “WE’RE NOT WORTHY!!” situation, but I’m pretty sure I kept my cool

Speaking of legends, Tricky might not be as long in the tooth as the lovely Mick or Tony, but he’s been around for a fair few years now and is on my personal list of musical heroes. Back with a rocking new album, he stopped by the Connecting Room for a quick chat before one of the series’ greatest performances ever

Last up were Jarvis and Sam from the amazing Iglu & Hartly, a band so hot that all of its members have to wear vests so they don’t over-heat!

Most of the time they just wear shorts and nothing else, so in the spirit of topless fun and seaside postcards I decided to join their gang and remove my prized Aaliyah / DMX t-shirt.
