Well, my fellow music monkeys, it’s gearing up to be a manic week at The Nokia Green Room…

Word has just reached me (via super secret sources!!) that the most beautiful new band in pop music, The Saturdays, will be descending onto The Riverside Studios for fun and frolics this week!

*NERVOUSLY DABS BROW AND NECK WITH BABY SPICE HANDKERCHIEF*

I just hope I get to meet them. Can you imagine the high-fiving?? It’ll be even better than when I met The Jonas Brothers!

Also on the show will be Sweden’s very own DJ Basshunter.

I’ll be sure to get him to teach me how to hunt down some excellent music. Although, in this day an age, surely it’s easier to just log on to the Nokia Music Store and buy it??

The Mystery Jets will also be putting in an appearance this week!

I’m really excited While lead singer Blaine Harrison is undoubtedly one of the coolest guys in music, my favourite has always been his dad, Henry, who used to play and tour with the band, but only plays with them on really special ocassions these days. Surely The Nokia Green Room is special enough? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Last up is the stunning and talented Katie Melua!!

Apparently when she was at The Brits school she used to go out with Luke from The Kooks. Can you imagine if they’d stayed together? MUSICAL ROYALTY! They’d have been the William and Kate of British music!!

Nevermind, I guess we’ll have to make do with Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse, although I doubt we’ll ever see them splashed on the cover of Hello! magazine.
