Oh dear bloggers… it seems like some of our musical faves have started feeling the repercussions of their excessive lifestyles and have been dropping like flies.

I’m being positive for now and refusing to accept the idea of a musical plague, but I guess it’s always a possibility. Eeeek!

First to drop was Dirty Pretty Things lead singer Carl Barât who was rushed to A&E two weeks ago suffering from ACUTE PANCREATITIS, which is pretty painful apparently.

This week we’re having to deal with the aftermath of Mitch Winehouse’s bombshell that his lovely daughter Amy has been diagnosed with the dreaded lung disease EMPHYSEMA…

I hope they both get better soon, but most of all I hope they don’t accidentally make both ailments trendy.

Maybe they’ll all end up on the same hospital ward? If only!! Can you imagine the late night jamming sessions?
